This book explores the history of the Norse goddess Frigg, delving into her significance and role within Norse paganism.

Excerpt:

Frigg is a goddess of great complexity, that I sincerely hope I illustrate with the following text. I will begin in the first two chapters by analyzing the various myths that she takes part in. In the third chapter I undertake a further examination of the roles and symbols that are attached to Frigg. The next chapter highlights those that are considered relatives of Frigg. The notable exception being a discussion on the goddesses Freyja and her relationship with Frigg. I felt that this was a topic that needed to be discussed somewhere in the book and that spot seemed most appropriate. The fifth chapter will be the one dedicated to those goddesses most connected with Frigg. They are the ones previously referred to as her handmaidens. They serve crucial functions in my work with Frigg, and I felt them worthy of their own chapter. In the final chapter we will discuss such things as alters, offerings, prayers, and holy days.
